E. Retaining Personal Information

  1. This Section E sets out our data retention policies and procedure, which are designed to help ensure that we comply with our legal obligations regarding the retention and deletion of personal information.

  2. Personal information that we process for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes.

  3. Without prejudice to article E2, we will usually delete personal data falling within the categories set out below at the date/time set out below: Personal data will be retained for the duration necessary to achieve the set purposes, i.e., for the duration of the Controller’s business activities.

  4. Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Section E, we will retain documents (including electronic documents) containing personal data: a. To the extent that we are required to do so by law; b. If we believe that the documents may be relevant to any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings; and c. To establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk).

F. Security of Your Personal Information

  1. We will take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse, or alteration of your personal information.

  2. We will store all the personal information you provide on our secure servers (password- and firewall-protected).

  3. All electronic financial transactions entered into through our website will be protected by encryption technology.

  4. You acknowledge that the transmission of information over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

  5. You are responsible for keeping the password you use for accessing our website confidential; we will not ask you for your password (except when you log in to our website).

G. Amendments

We may update this policy from time to time by publishing a new version on our website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you understand any changes to this policy. We may notify you of changes to this policy by email or through the private messaging system on our website.

  1. The payment of a fee of 500 CZK; and

  2. The supply of appropriate evidence of your identity (for this purpose, we will usually accept a photocopy of your passport certified by a notary and an original copy of a utility bill showing your current address). To the extent permitted by law, we may withhold personal information that you request. You may instruct us at any time not to process your personal information for marketing purposes. In practice, you will usually either expressly agree in advance to our use of your personal information for marketing purposes, or we will provide you with an opportunity to opt out of the use of your personal information for marketing purposes.

I. Third-Party Websites Our website includes hyperlinks to and details of third-party websites. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the privacy policies and practices of third parties.

J. Updating Information Please let us know if the personal information that we hold about you needs to be corrected or updated.

The owner and operator of the website www.wisenoble.eu (hereinafter referred to as the "Website") is Wise and Noble s.r.o., located at Revoluční 767/25, Staré Město, 110 00 Prague, which, in accordance with Act No. 121/2000 Coll., the Copyright Act, is authorized to exercise property rights to this Website (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator"). Access to and use of the Website is governed by the following website terms of use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms"). These Terms apply to all persons who visit the Website (hereinafter referred to as "User/Users"). The Website is freely accessible to the public. By entering the Website or using any information on the Website, the User expresses unconditional agreement with the Terms in their entirety.

  5. Operator The Operator holds all copyright to all content placed on www.wisenoble.eu, including the design of the pages, graphics, all images and text, as well as the selection and arrangement of the files contained on the Website. The content of the Website is for informational and non-binding purposes only. The Operator is not liable for the correctness and completeness of the information on the Website. The Operator may make changes to the information on the Website at any time without prior notice.

  6. User When using the Website, the User is obliged to respect the Operator's copyrights to the Website. The User agrees to comply with the laws in force in the Czech Republic, good manners, and these conditions when using the Website, and not to damage the good name of the Operator or other users. The User must not, in particular, interfere with the security of the Website, use it to transmit harmful files, attempt to gain access to non-public areas of the Website, disrupt the standard operation and integrity of the Website, or obstruct or restrict access to the Website for other users.

  7. Personal Data The Operator is the controller of the User's personal data. The Operator ensures the protection of the provided personal data in accordance with the privacy policy published on this Website. The personal data of Users is considered confidential and is not provided to any third parties, except for the delivery provider and except in cases where such an obligation arises for the Operator from the legal regulations of the Czech Republic or from a final decision of the competent authority to impose such an obligation. The scope, duration, and legal grounds for processing personal data are detailed and explained in the personal data section.

  8. Liability Any risks arising for the User from using the Website are entirely borne by the User, and the Operator does not bear any responsibility for them. Specifically, but not exclusively, the Operator is not responsible for any malfunction, unavailability, or poor availability of the Website and the services offered on it, or for any damage that may arise from using the data belonging to the Website. However, the Operator takes all necessary measures to prevent the emergence and spread of viruses on the Website. The Operator is not responsible for any advertisement or other form of promotion carried out by any third party through the Website, nor for the content of third-party websites that can be visited via links on the Website. The Operator reserves the right to update, modify, alter, supplement, or otherwise change the data contained on the Website, including these Terms, at any time and without prior notice. The User is obliged to regularly familiarize themselves with changes to the Terms. If the User continues to use the Operator's Website after the changes to the Terms, it is considered that they unreservedly agree with the changes.

  9. Provider of Web/Hosting Services Petr Žaloudek (All In Web Service – http://www.allinweb.cz) is not responsible for the website www.wisenoble.eu (Wise and Noble s.r.o.) and its content on the web.

  10. Final Provisions Any disputes arising in connection with the use of this Website will be dealt with by the locally competent court in the Czech Republic and in accordance with the legal order of the Czech Republic, regardless of where the access to the Website was realized. If any provision of the Terms is or becomes invalid or ineffective, the invalid provision will be replaced by a provision whose meaning is as close as possible to the invalid provision. The validity and effectiveness of the other provisions are not affected by the invalidity or ineffectiveness of any provision. These Terms come into effect on January 1, 2024.
